CNN's 2009 hero of the year

Allow me to write an article for today in a language I excel in~

Yesterday was indeed a good day, I went to my college today and went to our office to meet with my organization members.

Me, as the feature editor of the college newspaper, magazine, tabloid and newsletter decided to have an interview with a member of the DTC (Dynamic Teen company) Trina, who, is also a student on our college.

Dynamic Teen Company is an organization established by Mr. Efren Peñaflorida (CNN's 2009 hero of the year)

The said organization is composed of teenage volunteers who offer free tutorials to street children and out of school youth,

What amazes me most is the nonverbal message they send to the government and to those who are running for the may 2010 election.

Education here in the Philippines is not supposed to be like this. Are we really this poor? What about the funds for the Education? Where does it really go to? To all who would run for a political position for the coming Ma 2010 election, I hope you can take action~

As an Education student, I send my kudos to Mr. Peñaflorida~
